0 Norwegian Cruise Line Bermuda
Article view:
Norwegian Cruise Line somewhat a little bit different with Royal Caribbean Cruise in term of its cruise concept. On this cruise, passengers have more freedom with their times. This cruise began operations in 1966 under the name Norwegian Caribbean Line. This cruise line is best known for its Freestyle Cruising concept, which means that there are no set times or seating arrangements for meals, nor is formal attire required. Norwegian Cruise Line has a sister company, NCL America. NCL itself is jointly owned by Star Cruises (who in turn are owned by the Genting Group based in Malaysia) and Apollo Management, with both companies owning 50% of NCL.
This cruise has been trend setter by revolutionizing the cruise experience by introducing "Freestyle Cruising" concept, making itself very attractive to cruisers who see strict dining times and dress codes as counter-intuitive to being on vacation. I would many readers will agree with this. NCL's Freestyle service, now in operation on all of their ships, offers anytime dining with no pre-assigned tables in a huge selection of onboard restaurants. Passengers can still opt for meals included in the cruise fare in a main dining room, or they can choose from several onboard alternative restaurants offering a variety of cuisine, most of them carrying a service charge.
This Cruise Line sends ships to Bermuda from two American ports. Sail from Boston or New York. It is a 7-day Bermuda cruises from New York on the Norwegian Gem. Dock at King's Wharf in Bermuda. 2011 departures: May 8, 15, 22, 29; June 5, 12, 19, 26; July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; August 7, 14, 21, 28; September 4, 11, 18, 25; October 2, 9, 16, 23. The other alternative is also a 7-day Bermuda cruises from Boston are on the Norwegian Dawn. Dock at King's Wharf. 2011 departures: May 6, 13, 20, 27; June 3, 10, 17, 24; July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; August 5, 12, 19, 26; September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; October 7, 14.

The next step in the Freestyle comes with Norwegian Gem and Norwegian Pearl, which was launched in February and October, 2007. Both 93,502-ton and modification of features in both technical fields and passengers. The new "Bar Central" linking the three places - a martini bar, champagne and wine bars and pubs beer and whiskey. New ships 10 restaurants, 2376 passenger capacity and capable of speeds 24-25 knots. And the Norwegian Pearl have something that is a first at sea - and the actual bowling. Norwegian Jade (formerly Pride of Hawaii) is the same design, but no bowling alley.
With regular entertainment with Blue Man Group, the second city and legends of the sea (from Las Vegas), plus 21 different eateries, Norwegian Epic is certainly one of the most diverse ships ever built. Most shows are shown several times on each cruise and all the restaurants serve special dinners every night - to ensure that everyone is able to cruise of their choice. But somewhat counter-intuitive to the goal of Freestyle Cruising to "you're free to do - whatever," on Epic you really need to plan ahead and book as many good thoughts you can reserve your cruise or if you just might miss something.
Norwegian Cruise Line specializes in unique entertainment. The Second City Comedy troops are regularly out on seven different ships in the fleet. While the main dining rooms are likely to serve you something to Swoon with joy, there is a wide range of alternative dining on all ships operating in as many as eleven in total catering for each vessel. Nearly all these restaurants offer excellent cuisine and service well worth the extra service charge. And if all else fails, there is a "Chocoholic Buffet" on each cruise to appease your sweet tooth. NCL insists that visitors to the casinos at least 21.
